I thought you'd be able to have emails from certain addresses to be filtered into certain folders, but I guess not.

so if I have the specific functions in my Mac Mail app, then it syncs it correctly?
mmm...well not really.
On mine I have all my emails from facebook marked read and moved into a folder. When ever Mac Mail does this, the changes are synced with the webapp. However the webapp does not do this automaticly by it self
Use Mac Mail on your home computer and any other non public computer you use often.
