Modern equivalent of Hocus Focus?

Is there a modern equivalent of Hocus Focus? Looking for an app that will let me set auto hide settings at the app level, and when they lose focus. Hocus Focus no longer functions as smoothly as it once did.

If it were such a fee, shouldn’t that appear as an in-app purchase in the App Store?

Maybe this person is so traumatized by subscription apps they just assume...
