Modify “Siri shortcut” command?

I created an event in Calendar, then went to Siri Shortcuts and it suggested a shortcut to create identical events.
Problem is, it gets the date wrong and gets the specific calendar wrong. I understand how to change what to tell Siri to activate this, but how do I modify the actual commands that happens in the background? For example to modify the date and calendar.

With the shortcuts app that hasn’t been released yet. Or download the workflow app that essentially will turn into the shortcuts app later.

Siri Shortcuts is a jumbled mess right now. I'm just staying away from them until the actual app releases.
