I want to know if it's possible to change the behavioral pattern of an animation provided with one of the templates with Motion.

Specifically I am using the 'Rotation' template where the text in the template rotates on a vertical (Y?) axis, but disappears when the animation is complete. Instead I want the text to stop rotating when it reaches a forward facing stationary state, essentially so that I can use it as a title graphic.

Any help would be most appreciated!!

Thanks Deyson, the tutorial was very helpful and very easy to follow for a Motion newbie such as myself!! There was one area it didn't look at though, which is the effect of the light on the animation; I want the text to freeze exactly as you've instructed on your tutorial, but in this case the light source also pauses (over the 'H' of 'text here') instead of passing through to the end of the words. The result is that the 'H' and the adjacent letters look faded when stationary. Is there a way to allow the light to complete its animation and disappear so that all of the letters look the same?

Thanks so much.

Adjusting the highlight on the Text.

I did not catch that :)

The quickest and easiest solution I may recommend is to rotate the light -90 degrees on the Y axis or to your taste.

If you want the highlight to happen after the rotation, then animate the light accordingly with two keyframes after the rotation stops, you may switch the light to get the light look you desire.

Let me know if that made sense.
