just as the title says!

To be a little more descriptive..im using a dual screen setup and the main mac screen seems to want to extend to the other screen too.
if i push the mouse to the left or right, it 'scrolls' to the other part of the screen.

Anyone had this and know a fix? It was all working fine until about..an hour or two ago when i noticed it!
? I believe it is under Settings -> Displays -> Alignment (Arrangement?).

some screen shots...hope this works ok.

firstly scrolled to the far right (google window screen is main, mac screen)

and here is when i scroll to the far left, onto the left hand side of my additional monitor. notice it cutting off some of the mac screen? it also does this up and down.

the arrangement of the screens doesnt make a diff, ive tried to position them differently a few times.

here you go, the additional screen is a 17' acer. i have used this setup for a couple of months without issue up until this past week.
