I turned on my macbook pro today to find a giant white spot on the screen. To give an idea of its size it went from the dock on the left hand side of the screen all the way to the K in MacBook Pro. I never got any liquids near my macbook pro nor have I even cleaned the screen. I went out and bought a can of compressed air and was able to push the white spot into a smaller 4inch by 2 inch rectangle. It seems like moisture got under the screen. Please help I am at a loss of what to do here. I have it under warrenty since it is only a few weeks old but I really dont even know how to explain this to the mac people.

I would turn it of and put it in a Warm room with as little humidity as possible. leave it there for a day see if it sort it out. and take the battery out

This is something apple should fix right? I have an appointment with the GENIUS at 2pm today. I got the bubble down to about 2 x 3inch now but it is still very visible. :(

Went to the apple store and of course they had never seen anything like it. The bubble has shrunk even more now and kind of looks like an over sized teardrop. The parts are on order and should be here in a day or so then 1 day to repair the mbp.

After letting the mbp sit all night I woke up to find the bubble to be less than 1/4" high and 1" wide. I am still going to have apple replace the screen just in case.
