Since upgrading my Mac Pro (2013) and my MacBook Pro (2016) to Mojave 10.14.4 Beta (18E174f) I have experienced numerous sudden restarts on both computers.

I reckon it is something to do with networking, as in all instances it happens if I am doing something in Chrome, Safari, Finder (of the network), or downloading something of the internet.

I cleaned out all buffers, I rebuild services and caches, and I even tried starting in safe mode, and after a while, the same thing happened. This only started the other day following the latest upgrade.

Am I the only one?

I have a MacBook (2017) and a Mac Mini (2018) running Mojave as well, but not on Beta versions, and they are both fine. Hence I do not think it is anything external. They also run pretty much the same software, and all is updated via MacUpdate, so I do not think that is it either.

If I should point to anything, I'd point to Graphics drivers, or network drivers. I know Apple has been doing some work on the WiFi drivers, and I guess that could be it.

Yesterday I attempted to rip an audio cd to iTunes for the 1st time in a long time. My 2017 MBP apparently doesn't even see it now & neither does iTunes. Does this work for anybody else out there running 10.14.4 or is it just my problem?

Apparently not...finder only shows a VBox.log from 2017. Is there somewhere else or way to find it?

No such problems on my 2015 MBP on 10.14.4.

The problem I am seeing is gmail via Mac Mail keeps disconnect and I have to re-two factor authenticate. It is very erratic. My machine is not set to sleep and It just happens periodically.

I haven't tried removing and recreating yet as I am waiting to hear if it happens to others first and want to see what happens after the next beta rev.

Are you using Dropbox. That has been problematic on Mojave for many. Try deleting the Dropbox app. Does it help?

OS X 10.14.4 Beta (18E174f); iOS 12.2 Beta

So here this update pissed off Google something fierce.

My rush to fix may have made things worse. Problems with iOS devices too.
OS X

And I don't think any of us are the only ones, yet I don't see anything online anywhere. Some close, but no cigar.

OS X-
P: Could not authenticate via Google selection of internet accounts.
S: Delete google account's services and add them back with generic email account. That worked.

iOS-
Background: Changed two Google account PW's during trouble-shooting. In hindsight, should have set up test account to work.

P:Google and Chrome on iOS devices cannot connect to internet when attempting to log in to Google accounts. Error Message indicates no Network Connection. Both are fine when not logging in to Google Accounts. Google, Google accounts are fine when logged in via Safari.
'Cards' unavailable in all scenarios-again 'no network' available.
S: TBAttempted. Create a Google test account. Continue searching and seeking support.

Not even sure how to frame the question in Google search.

Clear as mud folks?

Woe is me...

For what it’s worth, I think today’s update (18E184e) cleared up my restart problems. Both my Mac Pro and my MacBook Pro have been running stable since updating.

The updating itself though took two tries on the Mac Pro, with about 6 restarts involved...

Saw something interesting under the Share Song dropdown menu. Are the Copy Link and Copy Embed Code items new?? Have shared songs with other friends that use Apple Music but don't recall seeing those two menu items.

I thought something was wrong with my MBP9,1 - three restarts so far, and I was wondering where I went wrong. I'll do some more restarts to see. Thanks.

P.S. Is there any way to do the update afresh, like downloading the update itself, and running it?
