I downloaded and installed 10.14 Beta (18A314K) onto a iMac (Retina 5K, 27 inch, 2017). All of the applications seem to work fine including News, Stocks, and Home. I love the syncing of voice memos. The biggest issue I have is that upon EVERY user input (e.g. keystroke, mouse click) the active application window refreshes and it takes about 1/4 second to redraw the content. So even typing something as simple as a URL takes 5-10 seconds.

I have tried to change display settings and modify other settings to see to correct the issue to no avail. I submitted the issue through the beta feedback assistant.

Has anyone else seen this behavior? Any thoughts on steps I could take to fix this?

I haven't had this problem with any of the betas. Sounds like something might have gone wrong. You might want to do a fresh reinstall.

Thanks. I did reinstall the OS as part of my original troubleshooting. But after your suggestion, I went back, erased the disk, and did a completely clean install. Problem corrected. Thanks.

I found Mojave not ready for my usage, and have since downgraded back to HS, partly because Mojave corrupted my drive and I couldn't do anything, Finder wouldn't even run ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
