My Mom bought the AirPods Pro 2 around Christmas and said they hurt her ears so she recently gave them to me. Major score especially because they fit my ears perfectly. They work with my devices but they're still linked to her FindMy. What does she need to do to relinquish control and allow me to become the full owner? Thanks.

I would imagine first she needs to visit her Apple ID settings and delink them from her Apple ID. I'm thinking since Find My is an Apple ID service, if her AirPods are delinked from the ID, then they can be promptly linked to yours.

Maybe you should look for it in the settings on her phone?
