mduser63 said:It's not terribly complicated. The software restore CDs that come with a given Mac only work for that model. You can't take the software restore disks from a Mac mini and use them on an iBook. This is to prevent people from doing what you're trying to do. You may be able to use Pacifist to extract the Quicken installer from the installer package on the restore CD and then transfer that over to your PowerBook.
