Hi,

This is the ONLY app in App Store that support manage the money you would SAVE, and the money you would SPEND SEPARATELY. I wrote this app and love to use it to know my finances. It is very easy to use and everything is shown clearly.

Tagging your expense, you can create as many tags as you like, and one expense can have multiple tags (e.g. food, milk). It is very quickly to add an expense this way.

After added your expenses and incomes, you can get more information and benefit from it:

Statistics
- see the statistics in different period clearly, including subtotals by tag.

Expense Control
- we use a virtual account "Expense Account" to control you spending limit.
- the Expense Account is like a budget, but when the month ends, the remaining money can still be used to spend in next month.

Save Money
- you can plan every income: how much money you would save and how much money you would spend for this income
- with another virtual account "Savings Account", all the money you saved is in it.

Investment
- if you want to investing with the saved money, you can add you investment account to this app and record the transfer between the savings account and your investment account, so you can always know how much money left for investment.

You can also record the currency exchange transaction on your real life. Passcode lock support. You can backup and restore your data through email.

With so many features, the app is still awesome easy to use. Some features have never been seen in other apps.

Hope you like it! Any feedback and comments are warmly welcome!

[FREE]Money Zen: know how much money you have saved/ left to spend

I use this app I developed to track my expenses and incomes, and know how much money I have saved / left to spend. It also can be used as a shopping list, support Passcode, iCloud auto backup.

Money Zen divide all your money into two parts: the part you want to save and the part you want to spend. Every expense will be deducted from the balance of the money you want to spend. When you receive a new income, plan ahead how much money you want to spend, so you can always know how much money you have saved, and how much money you have left to spend!

HI,
We are an online store who is looking for a expense and income tracker app. Currently we are using one, but that has a lot of missing features , so we need a better featured one.

So, looking for a better alternative.

And here are the features which I look to experience :

Import Export expense or income
Graph or Pie chart for expense vs income
Profit calculation screen, where it shows month wise expense and income and the profit for it
unlimited addition of entries
iOS and mac sync, so I can add it anywhere and it auto synces to all of my devices

Hi, the app I made have updated after 7 years.

Some of the evolution behind Money Zen over the years.

- Get currency exchange rate online. Covert different currencies to the currency you choose.
- The good numeric keypad for entering amounts, also is a simple and easy-to-use calculator: no need to enter an equal sign to see the result, always calculate the equation from left-to-right, simple and straightforward. (Probably the best calculator in bookkeeping apps.) (Long press the backspace key to clear the input. A little haptic feedback when pressing keys.)
- New currency selection list. Show special currency symbols in parentheses.
- Scroll left and right to see the statistics of different tags. The opened tag pages will be remembered so you can quickly access them when next time you open the app. Change the statistical period to any date range you selected. (Probably the most convenient way to look at category/tag statistics in any accounting apps). Being able to analyze from another angle will make the data you spend time recorded more valuable. The more convenient the way to see the analysis, the more efficient it is, and the more valuable the data you keep. Spending less time keeping track and getting more effortlessly is what I, as a developer, have done and continue to do with Money Zen.
- Show the per month/year/day result of a tag and all other tags it uses together, in different periods.
- Select a date range with start date, end date, or the number of past months/years.
- Show the number of transactions and median. (It is probably the only app with median in the world. The use case, for example, see how much you spend the most time in a restaurant, if you record in more details, you can see the price of a certain dish in different restaurants, the different dishes and their prices you eat in a restaurant...) Median is your personal price index, your personal average price of a restaurant, unlike the average which can be pulled up by an extremely large amount and become "averaged"
- Sort the tag list in statistics by total / median / number of transactions.
- Almost all codes are rewritten in Swift language.
- Rewrite the search function, which can be open by pull down from the top of any statistics list. Pull down from the top of the search page to open the keyboard of the search box.
- Separate the shopping list into a tab, and the items can be sorted by drag-and-drop. After breaking away from the expenses tab, the expenses tab is simpler, and each has more room for development.
- Separate the Settings screen into one tab, to a total of 5 tabs at the bottom of the app. Add Face ID / Touch ID unlock.
- Simple and powerful database backup and switching functions in iCloud Drive. (If you want multiple accounts, you can use this to achieve)
- Rewrite the tag selection list in expense and income adding screens, and the tag auto-complete list when typing. Left-aligned tags, same page-turnable, next page revealed a little.
- 3D Touch or long-press on the app icon to quickly add an expense or see the recently added shopping list items.
- When you tap on the currently opened tab, the page will scroll to the top, if you tap again, and when the period is not the current month, it will go to the current month, double-tap to quickly open the adding screen.
- Multiple tags for an expense are shown in the order of least frequently used, highlighting the least used and most special one.
- Pull up at the bottom of a list to see the hidden tips.

And more...
