PHILIPS 227E4LHAB Full HD 21.5" LED Monitor

So im wondering ill mostly be using my macbook, out the house but when i come home could i connect my macbook up to the display (Via HDMI) built in hdmi slot, and have dual monitors? What would the quality be like?

Thanks,
Jay

Yep.

You will need to make sure overscan on the monitor is turned off when using it with the laptop.

Your new Retina supports 1080p vertical res. over HDMI, so you will get the full resolution that monitor is capable of with no loss in quality.
