spent some time searching for a monitor arm that can support the size/weight combo of my U4919DW. Even Dell's version MSA20 can only support 38" monitors and up to 22lbs/10kg. the U4919DW is Weight 58.27 lbs/26.43kg. I am planning an office overhaul since decision to stay remote as an outcome of covid. are these monster screen just too big for an arm or we just ahead of the MFG curve of companies making them?

I wouldn't trust something that big to "a monitor arm".
Perhaps it's just me...

Perhaps it's just me...I've actually never used one before but it does seem to keep the workspace more organized when I see the 'redo your home office' vids lol

I've got a 49" LG Ultrawide with the Ergotron HX arm. Its a solid piece of kit which is rated for this size & weight of screen - highly recommend it.

It does free up a good bit of desk space compared to having it on the original stand.

I think the Ergotrons desk-mounts only go up to 42 lbs. They have a TV wall-mount one for up to 70 lbs…if your wall construction can handle it.

looks like it can handle the 49" but not the weight. need Tilt Pivot also.

Unbelievable the weight difference between the LG and the Dell 49". The ARM is perfect for the LG but the Dell looks to be almost 30 lbs heavier. was not expecting that! Thx for the pics, nice setup.

That Dell weight is with stand. Without its 25.1lbs/11.4kg so is fine for the HX. Some have even said it works with the LX as well.
