Has anyone run into infrequent monitor disconnects with an M1 Mac (or any Mac for that matter)?

I'm using an LG 27UK650 and 2-3 times a day the M1 Mac mini appears to suddenly disconnect from the monitor and then reconnect. The LG is connected using a USB-C -> HDMI cable that is known to be good without issue with my iMac (though I haven't tried after upgrading to Big Sur on that iMac). This last time it happened, I also had a dock connected and saw my webcam flicker on and off (I was on a Webex call)-- so it seemed like it is something affecting both Thunderbolt ports.

Have you tried connecting the monitor to the Mac mini HDMI port ? I think these LG monitors come bundled with an HDMI cable.

That's my next step later today to see if it still happens. I'll update this post once I know.

No issues over HDMI to the monitor, and I was able to induce the webcam active indicator going on and off when a monitor is plugged/unpluggged (probably just Webex relate), so I don't think both thunderbolt controllers were going out. I don't use this cable all that frequently with the iMac, so maybe it is intermittent with this cable.

I have a two HP 1080p monitor setup with my M1 Mac mini and bought an Anker USB-C to HDMI cable from Amazon last weekend to use to connect my second monitor. Same thing was happening to me with it, random disconnects on that monitor.
Picked up a Belkin USB-C to HDMI adapter at the Apple store yesterday and so far no disconnects. Not excited about the $50 dongle vs $19 cable though, so this better work better.

One other thing: The monitor on the HDMI port is stable but I have noticed some weird pink/grey glitches while booting on this monitor which don't happen once logged in.
