Monitor Calibration

I had a print job go south on me recently - the colors shifted a bit. Long story short, I'm in need of a monitor calibrator.

I've done a bit of research on the Huey from Pantone and the Spyder from datacolor, but wanted to see if any of you had any hands-on experience with either of these (or any others).

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I was told that the paper, printer, ink, etc. can also affect the turnout of the final print. It's not always just the monitor, although that's a good start.

I have used Spyder calibrators for the past five years and currently use the Spyder3 Elite. The newly designed calibrator uses the latest technology with the largest sensor of the currently available models and the only seven color detector. It can calibrate LCD, laptops, CRT and Projectors. It has a full time ambient light detector and calibration monitor that will warn your if your calibration has shifted.
