Monitor compatibility

I will be getting a base mini soon(ish), and due to financial constraints can't really afford a proper monitor for the time being. Might try and get a refurbished ACD next year! So I will be using a 15 inch Philips flatscreen monitor from 2003 :eek: with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. It has a VGA connector. Will the Apple Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter work with it?

will work just fine:), tested last weekend on an samsung 15" display which also had a resolution of 1024x768...

Cool, thanks! Is the display for OSX ML pretty low-res? It does auto-adjust, right?
