It's summer just about, the heat is rising....I'm on my iMac, but all I can feel is heat from the monitor when I sit using it, even just on Football Manager!

It's annoying. It's like a radiator, but is this normal? Pretty sure it would be for a 24" monitor, it's just disappointing.

The display itself shouldn't be hot (maybe warm), but the backside of the iMac would. Try installing iStat Menu or the iStat Pro widget to get some temperature readings. Make sure the vent in the back is not clogged with dust. A while back I had my iMac running hotter than usual. I checked the back and the vent was very dusty. After I used some duct tape, a vacuum, and compressed air to remove the dust, the machine ran much cooler. Just be careful if you do try to use a vacuum.
