Hello, I enabled my Mac Siearra 10.12.5 to be a Web server(Not using XAMPP, MMAPP or anything like that.) I installed php, mySql and run my own website on this server. so it is a public server now. All goes well.
However, one thing bothers me a lot is how I can see the info. of the incoming traffic? Most commercial hosting hosting, even XAMPP has Webalizer available to do that, but how do I install Webalizer on mine?
I did plenty research on this, seems like in order to install Webalizer, like other UNIX/Linus system, I also need to install a few dependendcies, that's where I get confused because I never could figure out which dependendcy goes to which directory. But the final result I like to see is GUI like the on it has on XAMPP.
Does any one has the experience in that or point me to some solid tutorial to guild me? Thank you.

Hello Mephjstopheles, thank you for the reply. I aleary read the link you provided, which confused the hack of me! :(
So far I know I have these for sure:
Webalizer binary in opt/local/bin with all its dependencies in stalled, such as libpng...
I have the front end files such as ctry_usage_201704.png, webalizer.hist... in my htdocs folder. (Ripped for XAMPP)

Now I think it is a matter to link the binary to the front end, but how? what links to what?

Here is what I get when run webalizer command in terminal
$ webalizer

Webalizer V2.21-02 (Darwin 16.6.0 x86_64) English

Using logfile STDIN (clf)

Creating output in current directory

Hostname for reports is 'Dicks-Mac-mini.local'

History file not found... // It hangs here forever!!

hahaha, I'm sorry for that.

I tried to setup webalizer on my machine and it also didn't work. It will not generate any output...
Maybe someone else can chime in and help with setting up webalizer.

I also did a little research about that tool and it seems the last update is from 2013.

Consider to take a look at piwik, it's also free and far more detailed/up-to-date than webalizer.

LOL, I tried piwik as well, I have exhausted every possibilities. I still like the Webalizer UI better tho. :) Plus I asolutely hate those silly 30-day trials!!! :)
Right now I still try to replicate the one from XAMPP, if only I get all the links right, I don't see why it won't work since I already all the dependcies(So I thought). But, as my luck, never know what else will come up. :(
If I ever get this to work, I will write a detailed guild on MacRumor Forum. :)
