I have a 16" M1 Pro and 2 external monitors, both 32" 4k. (Samsung UR590C and Gigabyte M32UC) I've checked that my cables are high-speed. If I plug in one monitor hdmi-hdmi, and the other usb-C to DisplayPort, they both function, mostly. (One will not scale well, minimal options.) If I try swapping DisplayPort for HDMI, only one monitor works. Unplug the HDMI output, the other one works. Plug back in and unplug the USB-C output, the other one works. I've tried USB-C outputs on both sides of the laptop, with no difference.

Any suggests as to what's going on? Can I NOT output to 2 HDMI-plugs simultaneously?

And now that I've posted, it's magically working. smh. HDMI out and USB-C/HDMI coming from the same side of the laptop
