I have a GTX 1080 and a 1440p monitor, and my old 1080p monitor running on the GT 120 to access the boot screen. The 1080p monitor won't run at 1080p in Windows on the GT120. I'm thinking of running a DVI to VGA from the GT 120 and then also an HDMI from the GTX 1080, both to the 1080p monitor, so that I can use the boot screen, but then I think that'll make the dual monitor resolution work because it's all on the GTX 1080 once it boots up.

Do you guys think this will work? Hopefully I can have the DVI output disable after booting to make it streamlined and all...

The GTX 1080 and GT 120 cannot co-exist in Windows unfortunately.
