i plugged in my PC monitor (15 lcd) to my 15in pbk via the dvi port.....it works and all, like it expands the screen.....but on the external monitor, the background isnt the same as on my powerbook (its the standard defualt apple background).......also......how would i mve the dock and menu bar so it shows up on the other monitor as well? its just the blue apple default background with nothing else unless i drag a window or something over to it

To move the menu bar and dock over use the Displays control panel (drag the tiny little menu bar between the two screens).
