Monitors Randomly go Black

I've been using 3 screens without any issues but when I add a 4th it goes a bit wonky.

All 4 screens randomly go black and then come back. They all do it at the same time.

Details are:

• The graphics card has 5 outs. 2 HDMI, 2 Displayports and 1 DVI.
• I've been using 2 Displayports and 1 HDMI
• When I add the 4th I'm using the 2nd HDMI.
• They are all going to VGA inputs on the monitors

I have switched the 2 HDMI monitors to see if it's the output of the card. It's all ok with 3 but when I add the 4th the same problem occurs

AMD RX 570 4GB (2048 Stream Processors)

Any spare hard drive to try High Sierra / Mojave? The RX570 has more mature driver support in later OS.

I down graded from High Sierra to Sierra so I could still run Logic Pro 9 as a 'just in case'.

I don't need all 4 monitors on at once. As long as there are no more than 3 monitors on at a time, it all works fine. Just would have been nice though.
