I just received a mail from Aspyr that MI-SE is now available for download for European customers via GameAgent. It's 14 euro, against 8.99 (and 9.99 for MI2-SE) on Steam.
On Steam, it's PC only, unfortunately.

I've heard some bad things about Aspyr's DRM-scheme, so that's holding me back a bit. Also, if I were to wait until the Mac versions become available on Steam, I'd have both versions PC and Mac (I have a Dell laptop as well).
On the other hand, the mac versions are supposedly Gameagent exclusives, which means there will never be a Mac version on Steam. Or will there...

Anyone care to shed some light on this ?

Because of licensing, the Mac versions may never hit Steam, but I don't have inside info or anything. Just don't count on them coming to Steam.

GameAgent's DRM is horrible. I'd avoid it at all costs – it's worse than Ubisoft's new scheme.

Then I've got a problem.

I can only buy it for PC on Steam, but I'll be playing the games mostly on the Mac. Which leaves me with the terrible DRM-scheme...
