Hello!

I've downloaded Monopoly Here and Now, and it will not work on my iPhone 3G. I've got the 16GB if that makes a difference.

When I try to open it, I see the basic loading screen, and then my homescreen. I have restarted my phone numerous times, along with restoring my phone after resetting everything.

Can anyone give me some help on what I should do, or how to make it work?

Thanks,

m

Could be something with your firmware version? Or maybe it simply doesnt work lol, did you pay anything for it?

The only thing I can think of is to delete it from the phone and iTunes. Then re-download it and try again. I've been told you are not charged for downloading it a second time.

I know it works on my 16gb iPhone, so I doubt that's your problem.

Good idea! I tried it all though, and sadly no go. This game hates me already. I reported it to apple via the appstore, but I doubt that will do any good.

Please people, think about what I can do to get this game to work! I beg of all of you, all I want for Christmas is this game to work! (and world peace of course) ;)

I have heard that problem before, on one of the reviews I saw a solution to fix this, it is caused by the 2.2 firmware update.

1 Go to Settings.
2 Go to General.
3 Go to International.

Under Language, make sure English is selected.
Under Region Format, make sure United States (or your country) is selected.

Under Region Format, prior to 2.2 it might say "English" which is no longer in the list.

You might need to restart your phone afterwards, although I don't that's necessary but it wouldn't hurt to do it one more time.
Hope that helps :)

You are my freaking god man!

I seriously love you. All I had to do was change the damn region format to United States, and badabing, it works.

Thanks SOOOO much!

First of all, by Wifi you mean your friend is in the same wifi network as you are?

Do you see "Default" on your screen? That's the default game room name... if so tap on that and click the join button.

Yeah we are on the same wifi network (at home)

It's just stuck on searching with the mac os circular loading icon.

Seems like a firewall issue here....
Try to see if you can do anything about it (your hardware firewall, your router). Try turning it off to see if that works.

If it doesn't help, try turning on UPnP.
