Rockville (Despite REM's plea.)
I finally got around to ordering both the mini displayport to DVI and VGA adapters from monoprice.com. I received them yesterday, and I was able to test them today with the Dell 24" LCD (1900x1200) at work, and both were able to drive the screen.

They aren't quite as spiffy looking as the Apple-branded ones, but the combined total with shipping for both was a less than 1.5 one of the Apple ones.

Just thought people might be interested -- I have no affiliation with monoprice other than being an occasional customer. These along with the USB to ethernet adapter (from Apple) I bought about 2 months ago (which is very useful at work) are the last accessories for a while (unless I break down and buy a new bag .. been eyeing the offerings at sfbags).

Ah yes, I've been meaning to pick up one of these. The thing I love about Monoprice is that they don't gouge you on the S&H. They just charge what's fair.

I have one that's DisplayPort to HDMI for '09 Mac Mini to Sony 50" TV. Works GREAT and the build is better than I had expected.
