My Kickstarter Monowear band arrived today. It is gorgeous, feels great and fits perfectly. The stainless steel type lugs are maybe a hair more brushed looking than the stock lugs on the Milanese, but you'd really have to be looking for it. They slide in perfectly and fit well.

This is an extremely high quality piece, and highly recommended. I'm sure others will be posting pics. The leather is a matte--just shy of suede--and will break in well, I'm sure.

Overall, very pleased. Pics below...

So you have an apple watch, but no device that will take a picture?

OK OK OK...

Had to upload to Photobucket, but valar dohaeris...

The dark spot on the steel bezel in the first 2 pics is the reflection of the band on the gleaming, fine Valerian steel that Apple has forged...

Enjoy!

I'm still waiting for my Monowear bands. But my lower priced eBay leather band came in.

Sorry OP, the word 'awesome' has NO place in the title of this thread. It IS ugly. I would rather pay Apple's $150 extortion and get the classic buckle before I ever considered that one.

Like I said, sorry, but it's the truth.

I totally disagree. I love that style. Plain leather but solid.

Monowear Black Leather Band-Awesome: Now with Pics!

I bought this band, too. Pretty much because it was the same price as most folks were selling just the connectors for. I figured I'd get the band, too, and have an extra. Make sure you check the screws on your connectors. One was so loose on mine it popped out and is lost. The other were extremely loose, as well. Each took a good turn and a half to tighten. Seller is sending me a replacement.

OP ... I think the band is fine, too. The lighting in some of the pictures just makes it not look very good. I'm sure it looks much better IRL.

Thanks for the tip. I was planning on changing the band out today. I really purchased it for the adapters.

Two bars popped off on my Amazon leather band as well. I tried tighting the screws but it seems like the bars that are holding the straps are not threaded. I superglued it and hope that they don't come apart.

I liked the band enough that I ordered one after looking at your pictures. I think it has a rugged utilitarian look.
