Never worked before, but tried on a hunch this morning and sure enough it works. Tried a phone call and it kicked over to phone mode and nothing came over speakers. iPod function does still get GSM noise every few minutes, but it only lasts a second or two.

i have a monster FM transmitter i use for my ipod. Monster's website said the cable i have is not compatible with the iphone, but i will have to give it a try!

I have a Belkin Tune Base FM, which could previously also only charge my iPhone. Imagine my delight when I could also listen to the iPod portion of my iPhone as well !!! I still had to use my Apple Bluetooth headset for cell phone alps, but that's a small price to pay!!!

HawaiiMacAddictVery cool that Apple would enable these ipod peripherals. I look forward to better, iphone developed car fm transmitters and other peripherals, but how great is it of Apple to put an ipod 30pin connector on the iphone so that chargers and peripherals work with it!
