Monterey 12.1 caused problems with my outlook mail

After I updated my Mac from Monterey 12 to Monterey I am now getting duplicates of all emails un my outlook inbox. I posted for help on the Apple community and they told me to contact Microsoft. I contacted Microsoft and they said they can't help because it is an apple problem. Can anyone tell me how to stop getting two of every email?

That's weird. I have an Outlook.com account but haven't tested it recently with Mail.

How is your Outlook account set up in Mail…is it Exchange or IMAP?

It's IMAP. I don't know what happened, but it seems like it may have straightened itself out this morning. When I went checked my email this morning it was one of each.

Remove all your outlook accounts in preferences, restart and then re-do them if it happens again.

Fixed in 12.2. It is listed as a fix in the Enterprise section of changes. Several people have reported it works again.
