I am using a Dell U3818DW with a PowerBook 13" 16GB/2TB via USB-C. This worked flawlessly until the 12.1 updates, when it no longer reliably wakes/connects with the Dell. I have to re-[lug for things to work.

Has anybody else seen this issue?

Yes, having exactly the same issue myself with the Dell U3818DW. It disconnects every two minutes and then sometimes reconnects ~20 seconds later. I'm on a 2019 16" MacBook Pro myself (Intel) so doesn't appear to be an ARM-specific issue. Started just after I updated to 12.1.

No problems here with a Dell U2720Q connected to a 16" Intel MacBook Pro. Connected via USB-C for video, power and data. 12.1.

I'm having issues using my M1 Pro with my LG 5K due to weird USB connectivity issues. It's not actually that it won't wake, but because my input devices that are plugged into my monitor aren't detected so I plug in and can't wake the monitor because it doesn't detect any keystrokes or mouse movements. If I pop open my M1 Pro and type a few keys, the monitor wakes up.

I only started having this problem as of the most recent updates.
