Monterey 12.3.1

I have a M1 mac-mini that I run Einstein@home on. Performance took a big drop right after I updated to 12.3.1 My I5 Intel iMac performance has not changed. Has anyone else notice a performance change?

Boy the performance of the M1 mac-mini has dropped to half the level it was before the update to Monterey.

My M1 Mac mini is stuttering all the time on 12.3.1 during basic use (web, email, messages). Messages.app specifically gives endless beachballs every few minutes.

I have checked with others who have M1 computers and run Einstein@home. Several have gone back to Big Sur. Their performance jumped back up to the level it was before Monterey.

Currently, under Monterey, my M1 mac mini is performing between 1/4 to 1/3 of it's Big Sur level
