Monterey beta 9 and Outlook UI issue

With beta 9 i have problem in outlook with reseting position of “reading window”. Someone else??

Same thing here… Small issue, but very annoying. Wonder if this an Outlook issue, or a macOS one?

Maybe I am wrong but the last supported version of Outlook 2016 Mac Version was version 16.16.27 (build 201012) ?

Version 16.55 beta seems unusual?

Microsoft has three different channels for updates; Current Channel, Current Channel (Preview), and Beta Channel.

If you subscribe to the Beta Channel, the latest Outlook version is 16.55 (21100600).

The latest release version for Outlook in MS Office 2019 and 2021 is 16.53. So Beta V16.55 does not seem unusual. Version 16.16.27 is indeed the latest version for Office 2016. It was released exactly one year ago, when MS Support stopped.

The latest beta version is correct. The reading pane problem is annoying and MS blames Monterey beta. Not surprised.

Same problem here with MS Office beta... kinda "resolved" with keyboard shortcut to restore "reading pane" on the right: command+\ pretty quick and not to bothersome.
