Monterey Blackmagic eGPU Force RGB mode Dell display HDMI

Hello,
I have a Mac mini late 2018 with Blackmagic eGPU to HDMI to DELL U3417W Display set to YPbPr.

I'm interested in the Patch EDID (https://gist.github.com/adaugherity/7435890) but wondering if it will work in my situation with the EGPU in the middle. Will this work?

Any guidance or links to documentation, threads and resources are appreciated.

Shouldn't matter if it's an eGPU or not. It should work.
