I have a 5,1 Mac Pro that had Catalina and downloaded the new version of opencore and downloaded Monterey and went through all the steps. It restarted and now seems to be stuck on macOS update assistant

Instead of deleting or simply saying that you figured it out as one often infuriatingly finds when searching for a solution to a problem, what is useful is to state what the solution was, so that others coming down the line can benefit from your experience.

Okay sorry I am new to all of this. I turned it off and let it sit for about 10 seconds and powered it back on. It came back up and did the install perfectly fine. It restarted for 6 times and booted up fine. Afterwards I did a bit more research and it seems like this same thing will happen if you do not have enough space on your boot disk so something to double check before installing.
