are people still experiencing the moos, and if so, are they any better? it seems as though people have stopped talking about it... or at least so much.

Haven't heard anything yet in my week 26 Macbook, but then, I've been using it next to my very noisy PC, and haven't done much more than use Firefox.

I have a week 26 15.4" Macbook Pro... no mooing.

Today, oddly enough, the Core Duo temperature is about 10 degrees cooler than it has been... which actually makes it comfortable to use. It seems that once it starts creeping up into the mid 50's it gets uncomfortable, and mine has been no higher than 50 all night.

Not sure what that's all about. Last night I callibrated the battery as indicated in the instructions, but I don't see how that could have anything to do with it?? But I'm not complaining...

Have mine for a week now, completely silent. Fantastic.
I put my power settings on "best energy savings", also when plugged in. I cannot notice any performance difference, but the difference in temperature is huge.
I watch movies on it with the MB on my lap. Little warm, but not uncomfortable. Processor temp is 60°C when using Realplayer fullscreen.
