Have you tried swiping instead of typing? I find it faster and more accurate.

Not sure the size of the keyboard will change regardless. Screen size dictates the size of the keyboard. If you're not interested in a larger device, I'd say your best bet is to turn your phone in landscape mode when typing. It offers a larger keyboard and keys..

oh i thought that maybe other keyboard can be somehow a bit more accurate somehow.
either i'm half blind or it's just not good for me anymore.. like every 3-4 letter is wrong and i keep correcting all the time. i'm afraid auto correct will cause more trouble (from what i remember)

I hit keys that are right next to the one I really want all the time on my X. I'm planning on replacing it with the largest screen offered by Apple (Pro Max) either this fall or if they offer iOS17 to the X, possibly fall of next year. I use landscape when I can but, not all apps offer it so sometimes I just have to check what I'm typing.

I've been using my X since it was introduced in 2017 so replacing it wouldn't bother me because it has been a solid device for the last 6 years. If I get 6+ years from my next iPhone I would be ecstatic and consider it money well spent

same as you. only concern is it will be gigantic. would have preferred the regular size pro but my main reason for upgrading is actually the periscope. at least the keyboard will be huge :p
