More Battery After Shutdown? M1MAX

So I've been casually tracking battery life on the m1max 14" 32gb 32core ever since I got it. I usually record the Time on Battery every 10% of battery used. Last night I recorded the time after going from 80% to 70%, and today I woke up at the battery at 71%? I checked iStat because I didn't notice until a few after starting up the MBP, that it was actually reading 72%? I specifically remember going to bed waiting for the battery to drain to 70% before shutting down.

Anyone ever experience this?

My advice:
Small discrepancies like this mean nothing.
Don't worry about it.

Well, I wouldn't expect the battery indicator to have the precision of an atomic clock.

Well, under the macOS hood you have a lot of processes (a few of them indeed) that you can't control really. Maybe it was chill time))

Not unusual for batteries to exhibit a small rebound effect after resting.
