Probably not everyone's case, but I find the notification center pretty useless. Everyone wants their notifications displayed differently. In my case, I'd like certain text messages or emails to continue appearing in the notification center even after I've clicked on the actual text message or email itself. Once you click on either of these, they will forever disappear from the notification center. As a result, I NEVER use the notification center.
