I doubt that this pic is symbolic of anything other than Blackberry having good taste in picking what computers to show in their adds.
The smart money says that the Blackberry folks had nothing to do with the choice of Macs in their ads...their ad agency did.

no, marketing people use macs in ads a lot more than PCs.

I saw Apple products in quite a few episodes of 24, so I guess Apple must be teaming up with a Counter-Terrorism Unit (CTU).
