More "evidence" towards the wednesday launch "rumor"

hmm could this be the real deal? for lion at least, but where it mentions nothing showing the airs linked to the lion launch, what do you think about that?

Honestly it could be any day. Who knows.

Based on Apple's history, they've released their new operating systems on Fridays, and those Fridays have been in the very few last days of the month (26th/27th/28th/29th).

So in the worst-case scenario, which is likely, we're looking at the 29th as the release date.

The 22nd makes a lot of sense since that is still in the latter part of the month, and it's a Friday.

However any day could be it... Wednesday makes just as much as Tuesday does, and Thursday as much as both Wednesday and Tuesday do. Why? Because we're close to the release, and we don't know the exact day!!

It'll be Wednesday. I know rumors are rumors until they're true, but there's just a lot of "support" for this week's particular rumor(s). It makes sense too; the Apple's earnings call kind of nails it. All the previous few weeks' of rumors were really just wishful thinking.

I'm in Tokyo, and planning to get the new Air (pending confirmation of specs). It just turned Wednesday here, and the Apple Japan site hasn't changed. I'm debating whether or not I should get up extra early and hit the Apple store in Ginza later [today]...

Anyone know historically how it has been for non-US release dates? If the "official" release is start-of-business in the west coast US, what happens/happened in other countries (specifically Japan)?

I dont see that much evidence to show that the MBA will be released only for Lion...all promotional stuff no boxes with hardware, unless it was the "boxes from last week" and we dont even know if those were real..im hoping for tomorrow but still not convinced worst case next tuesday i guess
