More fan noise, MBA or MBP 13"

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone would know which laptop would create more fan noise when play 720P MKV videos? The 2011 MBP 13" or the 2010 MBA 13". OR, do they both remain silent?

As an owner of both, it seems like the Air is more quiet all around doing the same tasks as the MBP 13".

My MBA runs at full blast when playing 720p movies. The lid is closed though so that might make a difference. At idle it makes no sound at all.

How does it handling playing 720 videos tho? Im just truing to find out if both were playing hidef videos, which one would remain quiet.

I am amazed how little fan noise there is while playing movies on the 13 with
4GB, 256SSD, and 2.13. It is so quiet, I did not think it had a fan.

I've only had my MBA 13 Ultimate for a few days, but I've only really heard the fan turn on when I hooked up to a larger Cinema Display and left the laptop lid closed.
