Hello everyone,
I was just on the phone with an apple representative, asking questions regarding the macbook pro yellow-screen issue, he did acknowledge it and also mentioned that it was becoming less frequent- the issue was being taken care of and if I did get it- it would be replaced customizable or NOT :D...

I asked him if there would be any updates to the macbook pro with leopard or a bit later and he said that the macbook pro will be REPLACED by a new notebook later in the year he then 30 seconds later laughed and said he wasnt too sure, yeah right! Anyways I guess we should be expecting something new, now Im wondering if I should even get my macbook pro now! :p

I know this might fuel further rumors, but heck its fun haha :p
take cares everyone!

You guys are probably right ---
my brother (much more tech savvy than I) made fun of me for 10 minutes for listening to that guy, owell I felt special there for a minute haha...

Im probably wrong anyways, just thought I'd share what I heard though, thanks everyone:eek:

Beware: Newbie posting:rolleyes:

What does that mean?

Someone who joins the forum today MUST have less knowledge of Apple products than someone who has been a member of this forum for 6+ months?

Just trying to understand your point and the reason to rolleyes.

While his previous post being extremely rude, I must say that I do see the point. Not about this thread but in general. First posters/just joined will imo often have less knowledge than those who have been readers on this forum for several years, exceptions included of course.

My wish list for new MBP:

NO MORE YELLOW LED
Metallic grey color with redesigned case for slimmer LED
SSD
Blue Ray or HD DVD
HDMI?
Multi-touch trackpad with 2 fingers zoom
WiMax
Self replaceble hard drive
300GB HD?

Secondary wish list:

Built-in GPS
Release date of late september with Leopard??

I can wish,... can I not?

More times than not I would totally agree but the OP even came back and said he was most likely wrong which is rare. :p

Guess I just didn't like how it was posted. Just as you said......was a bit rude IMO. Guess it was a bit holier than thou attitude.
