The 24" iMac looks like the replacement for the 21" iMac, do we think that a more robust, iMac with 27"+ screen is coming>

There seems to be a logic to their lineup where there's a playful, entry level item in color and then the Pro version that is what the enthusiasts on this board are looking for.

You see it in the iPhone lineup and iPad lineup. Seems like the same thinking is transitioned to the Mac, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was a more expensive iMac Pro with bigger display and more professional look in the cards.

The most reliable leaker has already confirmed it's coming and it's bigger than 27", so most likely a 32" 6K display.

Clearly an iMac Pro is the the works with a larger display, more memory, and a darker color.

I believe we will see an iMac Pro launched at WWDC with a more powerful M-series SoC and I am assuming a 32" 6K display.

I've been hearing this same thing for 'years'. And have been waiting for 'years'. It never happens. I'm done.

I fear it will be rather in the fall, but I'm sure it will have the next generation of M-Chip. And I hope so much for black bezels.

What makes you think an Mac Pro or iMac 32" will surface so early in the year?

Mostly the rampant rumors and speculation and the expectation that Apple wishes to move the line to the M-series ASAP.

I mean if we have to wait until 2022, fine. I'll just buy a 2020 iMac 5K (I could benefit from continuing to be on Intel) to hold me over and wait to see how expensive the 32" model is and decide if I need it or if I should go MBP/Mac mini for Apple Silicon with an (Apple) external display.

I'm not sure why you would choose now to be "done".

In June 2020, Apple itself announced that it planned to ship the first Mac with Apple silicon by the end of the year and that it planned to complete the transition across all Macs in about two years. That process is clearly well under way and, given the major redesign of the lower-end model, a new 27"+ iMac can't be all that far away now.
