Hi Folks,
I'm considering moving to a 13.6" MBA from my old 13.3" MBP and I understand the "More Space" setting now equals a virtual resolution of 1710 x 1112.
I've always found most text a tad too small with the equivalent setting on my old MBP (1680 x 1050), but there is a new font size setting now in the Sonoma System Settings Accessibility tab. Has anyone been fooling around with it?
MacOS tradiditonally uses a lot of margin / padding / empty space (not sure what the right term is) for menu bars, browser tabs, sidebars and other interface elements, so I'm wondering if these new settings would allow for slightly larger font sizes across the board, while retaining the size of the interaction elements?
Basically, fine tuning your way to a more information efficient use of screen real estate, which was kind of tedious with older versions of MacOS.
