More updates/ word processor

2 questions: 1) Anyone think that more updates for software will come out soon bc I dont wanna upgrade to 10.4.4 and then there are more updates the next day?

2) What are good word processors? I do not want one from the internet like NeoOffice. How about the new Pages? Appleworks is ancient. Also, is there a way to customize Word toolbars bc I would want that but when I used my trial version, I needed two toolbars that couldnt fit side by side, and I couldnt bc i couldnt shorten them. Is there a way to?

Erm... I don't know about upcoming updates but I'd say it's safe to get 10.4.4 now, I have.

As for office apps, I'd only ever get Office personally.

Well, like I said, I would get Office if I could customize the toolbar width. Actually, maybe I'll get it if there is another rebate like there was in September. BTW, is it reccomended, necessary, or just plain should I, clear/clean system cache?

I can customise toolbar width in Office X, the full version, so I assume you'd be able to in the full version of 2004 too. As for cleaning cache, don't worry about it.
