More USB Ports?

I am just wondering how I can add more USB ports to my Mac Pro. I would like to be able to add a PCI card rather than a USB hub but I don't know what to look for to know that what I buy is compatible with my machine. Also, should I be buying USB 3.0 or 2.0? Thanks.

My Machine:

Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro1,1
Processor Name: Dual-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 5 GB
Bus Speed: 1.33 GHz
 
I'm the same boat. Can't find anything that seems stable and/or solid. If anyone has any suggestions, we're wide open for opinions :D

Get a USB 3.0 mac compatible pci card. Done.

I would actually wait and see what kind of USB 3.0 ports are included in the future Mac Pro (next week, maybe, possibly). If so, you might be able to buy a bog-standard USB 3.0 PCI card and have it supported natively.
