More wildflowers, granite shoals, Tx

Me and the wife went on a road trip looking for more wildflowers. I found some great ones up north of Austin in Granite Shoals, Tx. All photos were taken with my iPhone 4s & processed in Photoforge2. I used my headphones as a cable release.

I have an idea!!!

Why don't you guys shoot better photos to really show what the 4s can do instead of "post your desk top", or "post photos of your new purchases, or your shoes....Really??? I thought a picture gallery is to post good photos, not junk. Most of the posts strike me as "childish nonsense". Why bother with a photo forum if you don't post good shots? I'm not trying to sound rude or ungreatful, I'm just trying to figure out why there are so many silly threads. I think my photos of wildflowers are awesome and they look like they were taken by a DSLR and only one person commented on them out of 587 views! That is pretty lame! Not your thing I guess, too many kids on this forum would be my guess judging from the contents of the threads. I was hoping for some competition from other 4s users. It looks like I will not get it. Is there anyone here who tries to take serious photos with the iPhone? If so, post them here, explain your technique, etc. I do have a pro DSLR, and have another on order, but sometimes I like to see what the iPhone is capable of and to find others who like to do the same.

I guess you could try posting the pictures in a photography forum rather than a picures sub-forum on a mac one, as the pictures on here are inevitably going to have a tech bias. I'm not a photographer so I don't know where would be the best place for that. I do like the colours that you've managed to bring out on your flower photographs though.

This is a picture thread. Whether it be stock pictures, screen shots, or actual photos.

I thought a picture gallery is to post good photos, not junk.

Just because someeone's young doesn't mean they can't see that a photo is decent.
