Im looking to buy a laptop to tote around campus that can take a real beating, what one is the most durable?

My iBook I never took anywhere, and it still had some faint scratches.
I am not sure how any laptop computer can take up the never-ending beating every single day without some type of external and internal damages. I take my iBook on the road when I am traveling on business and it is still in a mint condition (I am very fastidious about keeping my machines clean). I have not yet put my PB (2 ALs and 1 Ti) to test on the road as I just want to keep them safe at my place on iCurve stands.
I think the notebook computer will stay okay as long as you use the proper "padded" laptop bag and be gentle when putting it on and off the desk surface. Of course, no droppage is not recommended to any notebook computer.

The iBook is designed for it, but I wouldn't buy one now.. wait until April.
I have taken my PB all over the place and it has stood up to it well. All you need is a skin and a well made backpack and your away....
I have been reccomended Booq bags on many occassions as people swear by them, but I have a cameraback with a laptop slot that does just nicely.
The ibook can't take a more severe jolt any more than the PB (well maybe slightly), but it can be shoved in and out of a bag without losing its rugged good looks.

iBooks are quite durable but I'd also like to put in a vote for the G3 Powerbooks. The Wallstreets are a little heavy to lug around but the Lombards and Pismos are quite durable, small and great note-takers/internet surfers.
