WOAH. Well... that's a lot.

Yes but from the looks of it, it might actually benefit you in some way rather than the i am rich app. Although i cant imagine why you would need it on you iPhone. If your building is that serious about security then there would be someone in a room watching the feeds on a computer.

Plus how is an app worth that much if it just plays stream video and lets you move some cameras around? Sounds like profiteering to me as there are likely corporations out there that will just shell out the cash anyway as the rest of their equipment/software is probably just as expensive. It is like SAP in the enterprise...

I wonder how many people mis-read the price as $4.99 and go ahead and buy it....

You would have to be really dumb to mistake it for $4.99, when the price is $899.99. I could see somebody mistaking it for $8.99, however. That would not be cheap, and that person would probably realize that it actually costs $899.99 upon further analysis.

What is the app called? The link is blocked at work.

It's called "iRa" (Lextech Labs). It allows one to see "many" video feeds simultaneously. It's obviously way ahead of it's time. Yes, webcam access on your freak'n phone! Someone call the press.

It's a steal.

It's funny because on the developer's website, it says there is a Pro version coming out! I think that this is a great idea, but for a lower (but still expensive) price of around $49.99.

if only one person is stupid/rich enough to buy it he makes a profit. So why not put the price that high and after people realize its not actually worth $999.99aus then he might bring it down to what it is actually worth.

I'm a Brit - it's £499 for me. So pretty easy to mistake it for the common price of £4.99

Cheaper version coming soon

I've been working on a similar app and it should be out very shortly.....You can expect to see a price range that will certainly make the iRA look ridiculous :)

Maybe it's supposed to be $8.99
