Hey there

I'm a big fan of Apple's thin Firewire cables - they make life a lot easier, especially with a laptop. But they only make FW400 cables.

Does anyone know who makes the most flexible firewire 800 cables? I'm thinking of getting a LaCie Little Big Disk, but to get the performance out of it you have to use FW800. Problem is, all the FW800 9-pin to 9-pin cables I have are really thick and stiff, and the FW800 connector is (for some stupid reason) nothing like as robust and reassuring a fit as good old FW400.

It's way too easy to disturb a FW800 connection on a MBP, because it's on the right-hand side, where you probably have your mouse, and the stiffness of the cable always tries to pull the connector out.

Anyone tried a Belkin FW800 cable? What's that like?

Thanks.
