I was wondering which is the most popular iPod this year?

The iPod Shuffle because of the size?

The iPod Nano because of the size and screen?

The iPod Classic because of the huge hard drive?

Or the iPod Touch for the touchscreen and apps?

I'm a fan of the classic, both for its huge storage capacity - I have an extensive music collection and that is all I use an iPod for - and for its impressive battery life. A 64 GB touch might be worth considering, though....
